I am searching for John (Joseph) Eichler. He was born about 1844 in either Pennsylvania or Germany. He married Mary Ann Howery in March 1871 in West Virginia. They had a daughter Almeda Eichler b. 1874 who later married Joseph Robert Dillard. Mary also had two children named Joseph and Ora Belle that took the Eichler/Eikler/Ackler name but I am not sure if they are John's children. He is not in any Census records with his wife or children and it is family legend that he was heading towards New Orleans after Almeda was born. Jennifer Ash
