Looking for any info on an OLAF HAUGAN, b april 11
1863 in Trondheim. Naturalized in New Zealand as OSCAR HAUGAN,
december 9 1913,in Gisborne.He was married as,
OLAF HAUGAN, in 1915, to a HARRIETT MARY HILL,or
LLOYD.
OLAF & HARRIETT, had a daughter, MINNIE OLINE HAU-
GAN. Born september 29 1915, Gisborne.
I believe his fathers name was OLE HAUGEN,born february 12 1840 sparbo, norway. Ole was married to a MARTHA SKANKE,( not sure of actual spelling)
OLE'S Parents names were, KRISTOFFER OLSEN OSTERAS HAUGAN, & GURU OLSDATTER (OLDSDATTER) MAERE.
I have a gravesite for OLAF HAGEN, in Salt lake city, Utah, with the same birthdate & birthplace as "my" Olaf, i'm not sure if they're the same person. If anyone can give me any information at all, it will be much appreciated. Thank you.

P.S Minnie oline Haugan gave birth to, Patricia Marianne Haugan, in New Zealand September 8 1939,
and gave her up for adoption. "Patricia" is my mum, "Gilian Barney",nee Stokes(Adopted name). |
