I am Lisa Davis ldavis@gideon.k12.mo.us, I am searching for parents of William H. Collins b. 1824 TN, adopted by George W. Collins when orphanned in 1840 Marshall County Tn with Henry collins paying security of $200.00. They lived in Marshall Co. TN and Lake Co Tn then the family migrated to Dunklin and Clay Co., MO without William. He was married twice, had a son George W. Collins b. 1852 KY, then second wife Sarah Elizabeth Finley had several other children: Gideon Pillow b. 1860-61, William H., Mallie, Marion, Matthew, Ella, John, etc. All born in TN. A Paralee Collins, Durham Collins daughter lived with George W. Collins, next door to my William, so I think they are related. | |||||||||||||||||||||
