I was born May 1982 in Sheridan, WY. I am searching for my birth father or any other birth relatives, including younger siblings who were adopted out. My birthmother drove to Sheridan on May 20 1982, was admitted to the hospital, delivered me, signed relinquishment papers, and left town. The adoption was arranged privately through ob/gyn Timothy Scott (of Sheridan) for my parents; my adoptive mother was a patient of his. The information that I have been able to get from my adoptive parents is that my birth mother was 26 (born Feb 1956) with other children, that she was not from the immediate area, that she had blonde hair, and that my birth father was very tall with red hair. Also I may have younger siblings who were given up for adoption. My adoptive mother was 37 and working as a nurse at the time of the adoption, my adoptive father was 40 and worked for the postal service. My parents lived in Hulett, WY at the time of my adoption, and were Christian. When I was born I had red hair and blue eyes. I have requested non-identifying information from the state and was told that there is no information in my file, so any leads would be helpful. I am seeking medical information and would also love to know about my family history. I want my birth relations to know that I have a wonderful life and would love to have the opportunity to meet them.
