Buckner, Bracht, Gibb--looking for an Avory Buckner and who his parents were. His mother's maiden name is unknown and she was Bohemian. She immigrated here in 1886. I believe that this is my grandmother's birth family. She was adopted by Archibald and Marie Gibb. Avory was born in 1905 and my grandmother was born in 1910. The 1920 census shows that Avory was living with a Selma Nelson. I am assuming his parents passed away and that is why my grandmother was adopted out. | |||||||||||||||||||||
