We are looking for any information about our daughter's birth family. Her birth mother's name is Baibul Nisha. She is about 30 years old. She gave birth to a baby girl on 13th July 2001. The baby was called Sophia by Social Welfare. Baibul gave birth to her in Lautoka Hospital and she was taken to the Treasure Home when she was 3 weeks old to be adopted. The baby was 1.8kg at birth and 5 weeks premature. Her mother, Baibul breast fed her for 3 days. An uncle witnessed the birth certificate. His name is listed as Harish Kumar, Carpenter. We believe that the father's name was Sanjay Kumar. We are not sure if the Uncle and father are related.
We were told that Baibul married and went to live in Labasa. I am the adopted mother and am looking for any clues that may lead us to Baibul or her family. We don't want to upset her life just to let her know that her daughter is nearly 7, beautiful and a credit to her. I imagine that she thinks about her every day and I want her to know that she is safe and well. |
