I'm looking for family. My mother was born Mary Martha Joyce December 12 1950. Her mother worked in the old Dublin Hotel for years. Her name was Ellen. A woman named Sarah also wrote on my mothers baptismal certificate. Mary was born at Rotunda Hospital and given to St. Patricks Guild at Black Rock Temple Hill in Dublin. I was told she eventually married, had other children, and moved to England. If this information fills any of your questions or you have info to share I would be ever so grateful.
The family name has alternate spellings: Joyce, Goisdelbh, Jocelyn, Josse, and Iodac or Iodoc.
I will add a picture soon. We have strong genes. My daughter, mother, and grandmother are identical. Even in childhood pictures you can't tell them apart. Maybe you will see someone you know in their faces. |
