In search of my birth mother. I was born in Shreveport, LA at Schumpert Hospital on march 23rd of 1971. I have been told my mother was around 18 or 19 years old. I was delivered by a C-Section 7 weeks early. My birh mother was discharged the next day b/c of a family emergency, possibly a massive heart attack by her father?!? I believe my birth mother had been in Shreveport, LA for approximately 8 months but was originally from South Louisiana. I am unaware if my mother was married at the time of adoption. I have brown, curly hair, brown eyes, and I am Caucasian (but have a dark complexion). I do not know if I have any siblings. The attorney (Sutton, Sr.) that handled the adoption represented my biological mother as well as my adoptive parents so trying to retrieve information has been extremely difficult. |
