I gave a male child up for adoption at birth. His birth date was September 24, 1990 and he was born in Conway, SC. The adoption was prearranged through a christian adoption agency by the name of Bethany Services. I was limited in the information I had about the family but did have a general profile of the family that adopted him. I know that the family had another child, a daughter, who was adopted a few years before my child. I know that the mother in the family had been adopted as a child. I know that, at the time of the birth, one of the grandmothers lived in the home. I think the family might have lived in Columbia, SC at the time of the adoption. The agency gave me a picture that the adoptive parents wanted me to have of him when he was about a year old, but lost touch with the agency shortly thereafter. I sent a letter with him that explained alot of things that I hope he has been allowed to read. I told him that I would be signing the registry so that he could contact me.
