I am looking for my biological mother Rosalie Colby born 1922 and who lived at 29 St. Frusquin's Street, Malvern, Johannesburg at the time of my birth on the 5th of October 1945. She had two brothers who were not aware of the pregnancy - only her parents knew. She was a book-keeper/typist at the time and was 23 years old. Rosalie's mother was born in King Williamstown and her father was a store keeper by trade. I would also like to trace my biological father Norman Taylor born 1921 who, although trained as a fitter and turner, apparently lived and worked in his father's hotel in Graskop in the Eastern Transvaal and was unaware of my birth. His father was born in the United Kingdom. Norman and Rosalie knew each other for about two years.
I would like to make contact with any siblings, relatives or anyone who knows of their whereabouts. |
