My Father has a daughter that was adopted out. Her DOB january 1965. Sydney, Australia. Birth Mother name Sue, blonde hair, fair complexion. We think the baby girl was given the name Lisa. Birth fathers name Leigh. They were aged under 20 years of age and were forced by the mothers parents to give up the child. (Father later joined the QLD police) Mother was flown from brisbane to Sydney to await the birth in an unmarried mothers home. Fathers parents wanted to raise the child. Lots of tension and sadness.My grandfathers dying wish was to resolve the bad feelings created by the ordeal with the birth mothers parents, and he did do this and spoke with the birth mothers mother and all was forgiven. It made him very happy. My dad (Leigh) would just love to know if she is OK & happy etc.. He would be happy with any news. No pressure to meet etc.. whatever the adoptee wants to do. Dad is happily married for 33 years. Three children and seven grandchildren. His adopted daughter is on his mind often. He believes strongly in family.
