I am searching for my birth father and/or his biological family. My birth mother's maiden name Deborah Spurgeon, but (I believe) had the last name of McCracken at the time of my birth. She had lived in Indiana up until around 1970. She was 22 years old when I was born, and already had a son and a daughter; they were not living with her. I was born on February 3, 1972 in St. Petersburg, FL, and was adopted through the Children's Home Society. My birth mother had been living in that area while she was dating my birth father and through the time of my birth. My birth father wanted to raise me, but my birth mother cut off all contact with him and put me up for adoption. According to my birth mother, my birth father's name is Charles Clary. She said that he was in his mid to late 30's when I was born, and that he was a construction worker. The picture is my birthmother as a young woman.
