I am searching for my mother's daugher born around October 28, 1949 about. My mother was raised her entire life in Charlestown, Massachusetts. She gave birth to a girl when she was about 19 years old at the Somerville Hospital. Her parents REFUSED to let her keep her daughter. The father, Italian, abandoned my mother when he found out she was pregnant. My mother's maiden name was Alice Irene Suckiel, she was from a large Polish family. She lived on Green Street, Charlestown, MA 02129. Unfortunately, she is now deceased. No record of the birth has been found. I believe the baby was given to a very nice couple who could not have children. I believe there are no records that exist regarding a formal adoption. I don't even know if the woman is aware that she was adopted because from what I have been able to find out from my mother's family members, she would be an only child. My mom was very petite, blond with blue eyes. Her favorite holiday was Halloween because she always thought of the daughter she couldn't keep. Thank you very much.
