I am looking for my half sister. Her name is Dana. She was born around 1981. Our mother's name is(was) Judy Faye Smith Reid Soles. Dana was adopted by a family who lives(d) in Gray, Georgia, Jones County. When I was born, Dana lived with us for a little while, then she was taken away by DFCS and placed in foster care, later adopted. We have 2 brothers, Derek and Daylan. I'm not sure where they are today. I am not sure where our mother is. She was in jail for a few years when I was small. She got out around 1995 or so and I saw her twice after that. Have not seen her since. My mother lost parental rights when she was in prison and my dad was awarded full custody (he is no relation to Dana). He was unable to take care of me because he is ill, so I live with my paternal uncle and aunt-- they have legal guardianship. When I lived with my dad, Jones County DFCS sent a letter to him from Dana's adoptive parents saying that Dana wanted to have contact with me. He would not agree to it. My aunt and uncle know how much I want to contact Dana and get to know my sister, so they have been trying to help me find her.
