I'm looking for my uncle (my mother's younger brother). His name was Marian.
He was born on Dec 30th 1947 in Aschaffenburg, Germany.
His mother's name was Olha Zawalniuk, born Drabycz.
My mother's name is Maria Czajka born Zawalniuk.
They moved to Nuertingen, Muehlwiesen 1, on March 7th 1951.
My uncle moved away on Nov 23rd 1952 - it's commented "adopted and moved to the US".
My mother does remember that a woman (perhaps a state person) took her brother away from home. She never heard anything from him anymore.
Now that my grandmother has died - my mother would like to find him away.
My mom and grandparents (and my uncle) are Ukrainian heritage, my grandparents having fled Ukraine during 2nd world war and then spend a couple of years in different DP (displaced person) camps in Germany. |
