I am searching for my half sister. She was born in Montreal, Canada in 1965. Her birth mother's name is Bernice Grace Mclean DOB 4/9/46 (my mother as well).Our mother is of African-American and Indian descent. My mother was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. From info I have gathered. Her dad's name is possibly Charles "Butch" Young and he might live in NY in the US. My sister's name could be Robin or Tracey. She had my mother's surname of Mclean, I think prior to being given up for adoption. But all of mother's family members spell it differently. My mother didn't immediately give my sister up for adoption. I don't know what church or social service agency my mother took my sister to in Montreal. My mother (Bernice) could have possibly made contact with my sister within the last few years. My mother's name now is Bernice Settles and she has a son as well as me. My mother and I live in Michigan. I haven't had contact with my mother for the last 3 years. My brother lives in Georgia. My sister may have been adopted by her biological father after and if my mother contacted him regarding my sister.
