I am looking for any biological siblings of my daughter that may have been adopted and were brought to the U.S. from Guatemala. My daughter's birth mother is Celia Elvira Lopez y Lopez and my daughter was born in Coatepeque in September of 2004. I brought her home to the US in March of 2005, and am fairly sure that her mother will eventually have more children that will be given up for adoption and may end up in the U.S. My daughter is small and slight (only 24 pounds at almost 2 and a half), and has a distinct European-Hispanic look, as opposed to a Mayan-Indian look and has dimples in her cheeks and very light brown skin. I got her in Guatemala City from a foster mom who had her from within the first couple of days of birth. The last name of the attorney in the adoption case in the Guatemalan courts was Zulma. |
