I am looking for my birth mother. I believe she tried to keep me because I was older when adopted, nearly fifteen months. My name was Sherry Anne Blythe and I was born in Washington Pennsylvania in 1944 on Oct 8. I believe my parents weren't married and my mother might have been young and part of a very poor, Catholic Irish coal mining family. I am half Irish and half French. I was surrendered to the Catholic charities and placed in an orphanage and then adopted by a family from New Jersey. I have brown hair and light brown eyes. I had a tooth on the right side that never grew in but stayed impacted in the gum. Perhaps this is a family trait. I have never been overweight but always on the thin side although now that I'm older I could lose a few pounds around the middle. LOL.
