I was born in South Bend, Indiana, on Sept. 4, 1970. I weighed 5 lb. 11 oz and was 20 1/2 in. in length. My biological mother had good health and a normal pregnancy. She was 5'-6" tall, weighted 120 lbs, had brown hair and eyes, was fair complected, nearsighted (wore glasses), and was in high school. She was of German descent. Both her parents were high school graduates. Her father worked in a factory. My biological father was 5'-10" tall, weighed 150 lbs., had light brown hair and brown eyes, and a medium complexion. He was a college student of good ability in excellent health. His special interests included sports, playing piano and trumpet. He was of German descent. His father was employed as a Serologist. It took my biological parents a month to decide whether to keep me or to put me up for adoption. They finally decided it was in my best interest to be adopted, because they both wanted to continue with their studies.
