I am searching for my birth mother and perhaps an older half-brother. I was born on August 4, 1952 in Munich, Germany. My birth certificate lists Lindwurmstrasse 2 a as an address. I was adopted in 1955 by an American couple in the Armed Services stationed in Munich. Information I have is that I was adopted from the Hansel and Gretel Orphanage in Oberammergau in April 1952. My mother has said that they were able to adopt through the Lutheran Church and that my birth mother mentioned that she had an older son -- born
to an American GI, I assume during the war. I was named Stefan Kunst. My adoptive mother met my birth mother in 1955 and thought she looked to be in her early thirties and was fairly petite. I was blond and blue-eyed. |
