Please Help! I am searching for my mother. I was born in Pusan South Korea on November 28, 1980. My mother was a Waitress at a Korean drinking bar. My father was a college dropout. They had me out of wedlock. I guess in the korean culture having a kid when not married is discraceful to the family? Thats probably why my grandparents didn't want to take care of me at the moment "Which is understandible"... I remember clearly, leaving my mother when I was around 3 years of age. She was in the hospital on a rolling bed. She gave me around a dollar and told me she loved me and I then took the taxi to my grandparents house. I stayed there for around two weeks and then moved to an orphanage in Seoul. I was adopted from an orphanage in Seoul by the Holt International Children's Services. My Korean name is Gil Joon Baik. American name is Russell Gil Joon Clark. As I grow older I get more curious. Do I have a brother or a sister? Well thanks for reading and hope you can help! |
