Biological Siblings, Birth Father, Birth Mother, Birth Grandparents, any Birth Family Member. Birthname maybe Jaqueline. Searching for any biological family member. I was born in a hospital in Kentucky on 08/02/1977, 8/2/1977, 8/2/77, August 2, 1977. Formal adoption finalized with name change to Amy Lynn Sipes in April of 1978. Grayson county courts. Adoptive parents are Delois Cummings Sipes and William Stanley Sipes. I was raised in Caneyville, Kentucky, Grayson County. Looking for any possible siblings. Would also like to have a medical history for my own children. I have recently received more information. I do have siblings, at least two. The report from the DCBS states that I had two siblings, with which I have never had contact. A brother was two years old, at the time. Maybe born around 1974 or 1975? He was NOT placed in adoption. There was another sibling between us. Sex is unknown. Birthmother was a beautician and received a license in cosmetology. She was born in 1951. She was out of work at the time of my birth. She is stated to have been average build, 5'5.5" tall, 115 lbs, white, fair complected, medium brown hair, dark blue eyes. She also had her GED. Her mother was 43 years old and was a waitress for 10 years. She was 105lbs, 5'1" tall, medium brown hair, fair complexion. She did not complete high school. She also had a surgery for uterus cancer and her brother had leukemia. My birthmother had a 15 yr old sister. She was 5'4", 115lbs, medium brown hair, blue eyes and fair complected. She was in high school with average grades. My birhtmother's father was deceased. He died of heart failure. He was a truck driver. He was about 5'9", 155 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes and a medium complection. My birthfather is listed as "alleged". So I am not sure if this information is regarding my birth father or not. If, indeed, he was my birth father, he was born in Kentucky in 1957. He was a truck driver and/or carpet layer. He was in the armed forces in Vietnam. He had a muscular build, 5' 7" tall, 145 lbs. He was white, with light brown hair, blue eyes. He is signed as being a sensitive and likable person, but has had minor difficulties iwth establishing a more stable life style. He finished the 11th grade. He had an interest in traveling. He was reported to have been healthy although he developed cirrhosis of the liver while in the Armed Forces in Vietnam. There is a history of breast cancer and bone cancer, but it is not known on which side of his family. His information is reported to have been provided by his step mother. I have no information on her. His father was 5'8" tall, 165 lbs. average build, brown hair, brown eyes, medium complexion. He owned a general store for 27 years, recently selling it and retiring (at the time im 1977. It is stated that he was a good natured person with interests in carpentry and out door activities. He did not finish high school. My alleged birthfathers mother was 5'4" tall, average build. Brown hair, brown eyes, fair complexion. The report from the social worker in 1977 states that it is not known if she finished high school. She and the father were divorced soon after the alleged birth father was born. She is reportedly an alcoholic and has not had direct contact with any of the family members for many years. Her parents lived in another state and no other information is known of them. The alleged birth father was an only child. My Kentucky birth certicate number is 74-36679-77. The only other document I have is the "Judgement of Adoption". Grayson Circuit Court Civil Action File No. 78-CI-004. William Sipes & Delois Sipes, Petitioners vs. Amy Lynn Sipes, an infant, Respondent. This document was signed on April 7, 1978 and filed as official on April 8, 1978. This officially changed my name from ? to Amy Lynn Sipes and terminated my birth parents rights and awarded the adoption to my adoptive parents. The attorney for my adoptive parents was James F Dinwiddie. The only other information that I have is that I was placed in a receiving home from the hospital after my birth. I had not left that receiving home. It also states that my next scheduled doctor check up was to be on October 7, 1977. The last information on that states: Hopefully, she will be in an adoptive home by that time. This is what I have. If you know anything or know someone who knows anything, please contact me. I have always felt like something was missing and now I know that I have at least two siblings. That's what has been missing. I would love to find information on them.
