Hi, I'm Ally. ^_^ I am searching for my birth parents, or members of my birth family. All my life I have been aware that I had been adopted at birth, and was lucky enough to grow up in a wonderful caring family who never kept any secrets from me. I was born on July 21, 1982 at Wellesley Hospital in Toronto at about 7 pm. At birth I was called Danielle Jacqueline. My last name by birth began with a T, and may have been Tanzer or Tobin. All the information I know about my birth parents is that they were young college students who met in a university class for recording arts. My birth mother was 21 years old, caucasian, petite, with dark brown curly hair and hazel eyes. She played piano, was a reader, athletically inclined, and was in first year University in an Arts program. I am aware that she had one brother a year older than her. My birth father was caucasian (with east Indian ancestry), 5'11 with olive skin, brown hair and eyes. I know from my adoptive mom's records that my birth father possessed a pilot's liscence, had 4 years at the Conservatory for guitar, and worked for 3 years in the film and recording industry at the time of my birth. He had two sisters and a brother, all older than him at my birth. I was once told that my birth father's name was Peter Harper. My birth father's mother was an RN in India, and his father was a doctor, who had written several texts and novels, and was born in India. My adoption was done through the Children's Resource and Consultation Centre of Ontario and was finalized in August of 1982.
