Im searching for my Half sister who was adopted at 6mths old in 1960 (i think ) to a young couple in bristol who couldnt have children of their own. I know her real name was Dawn Michelle Chislett born on the 4/12/1959, Her adopted father worked at bristol airport. I know that the editor of the evening post was the one who signed the adption forms as a witness but dont know his name. On birth cerificate it only got the real mothers name which is Shiela Doreen Chislett but she was known to people then as Doreen or mrs/miss parsons. At the time of the adoption Dawn already had a brother named David who was 2yrs old. I also Know that the Adoptee parents were allowed to change her name and as far as i know they did but dont know what they changed it to. |
