Looking for connections to BENTON, McBURNEY of Montreal,Canada. John BENTON came to Canada from Staffordshire around 1878 (age 20). His wife, Margaret McBURNEY, was born in Quebec around 1855. At some point, it appears they adopted two daughters -Rachel and Eveline COWIE (born 1876 and 1877). I'm trying to find out if they are the children of Margaret's sister.
