I am a female born on August 20, 1970 at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Ma. My birth mother, Shirley Ann John, is Caucasian and my birth father is Afro-American mix. My birth name was Lisa John. According to my records, my b-mother was approximately 23 at the time of my birth (my adoptive mother thinks she was younger) and I do not know if she ever told my b-father. After graduating high school she went to beauty school- I don't believe she finished at the time of my birth. My b-father is said to be a tall man with a medium brown complexion. The agency that handled my adoption was Boston Childrens Services; the social worker was named Ms. Hoagland.
