Ruggles - I am looking for a man with the last name of Ruggles, from Canada. He was in WW2 as I have a photo of him in Canadian Uniform, taken in Boston 1944. He had met my grandmother Catherine MacNeil from Iona, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, in Boston, and she was pregnate for my father. Since they were not married, when she returned back home from Boston, her parents made her give him up to another family in Iona. My dad grew up not knowing who his dad was, and evryone in that town knew, including the fact that he also grew up with his birth mother running the only store and gas station there. And they both knew who each other was. With that said, I am looking on who he was, as I feel apart of my history is missing. |
