My name is Margaret Mary Timmons Boler. I was born on April 24,1955 to a Margaret Holland. I spent two years at Sean Ross Abbey under the care of Sr. Hildegaard. Sr. had many letters from my adoptive parents and they also received some from her. She mentioned that my birth mom left for nursing school and I was then sent to the US in January of 1957. My adopted parents were Harry and Dorothy Timmons Jr. I am now 52 years old and have records of my baptism and passport showing my name to be Mary Holland. I am just curious if my mom is still living or if there is any chance she may be wondering about me. Sister's discription of her led me to beleive it was very hard for her to let me go. I want her to know I have had a wonderful life and I have two beautiful children. A boy (19) and a girl(22) I am married to a wonderful man for 29 years. We hope to celebrate our 30th in Ireland. That would be my first time back since the adoption. I feel I have more info than most adopted children so I am taking a shot at possibly letting my birth mom know that her decision was the right one. I can't imagine at that time in Ireland how hard it was to find yourself pregnant and then to be sent away from your home, and then to have to leave your child. I do hope I can connect with someone that may know of my situaton. thank you |
