I gave up my baby at birth. He was born june 6 1962. at the General Hosital in ottawa. he was a healthy boy,fair skin and dark eyes, weighing 7 pounds 5 oz. On july 25 1962 he was placed with adoptive parents. He had an older adopted sister. The parents were of Italian decent. the father worked at a power and paper plant as a draftsman. The Adoptive mother owned her own hairdressing business. I have been searching for him for more than 20 years to no avail. One understanding nurse made sure i held him that one time , even though I fought it, because I was afraid that once I held him I couldn't let him go...when they put me in a cab , never to see him again. I had no support no one to help me. The father left me after being together for 4 years. I had to go to court to legalize it.
