Birth Mother in Search of Daughter.
Born 07/12/1989, Olathe Medical Center. Olathe, KS
Adopted just days after birth.
Birth Name: Ashley Lauren Belcher.
Adopted Name: Jennifer (Do not know middle or last name).
Adoptive Mother and Father: Arlette & Norman.
I am under the impression that Jennifer has an older brother and sister that were both adopted from different families.
Biological Mother (me) Allison Adams. Now Allison Simon.
Biological Father: Brian Belcher.
Lawyer that handled the paper work: Stanley Michelman in Pearl River, NY (office now closed).
Jennifer: If you happen to stumble across this, know this. Giving you up was not an easy decision for me. But you needed a chance at a better life than I could give you (or thought I could give you.) I was young (17 when I found out I was pregnant with you) and there were many days during that time of my life that I didn't even know if I was going to be able to afford to eat from day to day. You deserved better, and I hope from the heart that you have had good life so far.
I think about you more than you can imagine. I look at the last picture I have of you and my heart aches. You were 3 maybe 4 in a ballerina / dance costume. (Thank your Mom and Dad for sending it to me.)
I worry that you resent that I found other people to love you and call your family. If you do, I hope you can forgive me.
If you ever have the desire to know more about your background, me or even if you need to let me know your are angry.... I am here.
