I finally found my birth mother,"Doris Marie Gosselin Chickering-Moore". d.o.b. 9/16/1946- Worcester, MA. Address is: 3766 Tupelo Drive #1502,San Antonio, TX. She is a R.N. and she has a daughter, Barbara Jean Chickering (39 yrs) whom last I've been told was a multi-unit movie theatre mgr. in San Antonio, TX., in 1994. Her last address I've obtained is: 24627 Dawn Arrow, San Antonio, TX.
I've located ONE OF my 1/2 sister's (our birth mother was Doris)- Mrs. Shara (Chickering) Hill- N.H. !!! HORRAY!!!
Doris's parents were Joseph Henri died in 1992-(inspector at Whitin Machine Works)and Florence N.(Gauthier) Gosselin ( died 4/18/94). They lived on 94 Church St., Whitinsville, Ma in 1967. Doris has 2 Sisters:
Ann Convery, born in 1941- current residence is in Springfield, MA-(I will meet her soon- I've heard her health is failing and she has not had contact w/ Doris either)
Jane T. Imholte, born 1953- of McLean, VA(military dietician)Just spoke w/ Jane - and she does not have Doris's current ph # either.
Doris has 2 brothers:
Donald E. Gosselin- born in 1940- of Northbridge, MA ( retired teacher and postal carrier)- met him -confrmed Doris's current address as of 4/2/08, but does not have her current working ph # either!
Richard P. Gosselin-(mentally handicapped) born 1949- Worcester, Ma - lives in an assis't living home.
My birth father was the late, Richard M. Johnson-born on 7/26/1940. He died 1993 or 1994?
His parents were Mary and Mathiew ( spell?) of Finish descent. (both are deceased)
Richard had 2 other children with his wife Mary S. Johnson: Maila L. (age 36) - lives in Rutland, MA- and Matthew P.(age 31)Worcester, Ma. I would really love to connect with any Gosselin, Johnson or anyone with any info.! Thank You so far to all those who have recently helped me obtain the above info.!
