I am a birthmother looking for my son. I am Native American and so is my son. At the time of my son's adoption I was 13. I remember signing the papers on May 4th, the day after my son's birth. My mother was present for the birth. There was a huge dust up over the adoption because I am Native American, and I changed my mind. I got involved with the Indian Child Welfare Act and tried to get my son back, after a couple years we were forced to settle. The adoption took place in the state of Georgia. I was 13. My son's father was 15. My name is Jessica Lynn Cottrell. His father's name is Robert Daniel Greene. My son was born at the beginning of May in 1995.
