Girl born 05/06/1969 in Carrollton, KY, seeking birth mother who according to Kentucky Birth Book had the maiden name Sharon Newman. I was born Laura Jean Newman, and given up for adoption at birth. When my adoption came up for finalization in 1970 the Tennessee social worker was told I was being given up because she had three older children (2 girls and a boy) at home, and she was trying to reconcile with her husband so they could grow up with their father.
