Iam looking for my birth mother.At the time of my adoption my mothers name on my original birth certificate was Nita Ora Mathews,but through a cross check they believe her name to be Anita Maria Mathews.She may have married in 1993 with the last name Bassett.She did name me as Debbara Anne Mathews. The information i have about her at the time of my adoption is that she was 26yrs old and she worked as a head waitress.She was of Roman Catholic Religion and hoped i be brought up the same way.She was Maori and belonged to the Nga Puhi Tribe of Northland.She suffered TB when she was 14,but was cured.Her mother had died the year before i was born,her father was still alive and worked as a fencer.She had one brother and sister who were still at school.She was 5"5 of slim build,with black hair,goldy brown skin,brown eyes and a heart shaped face.She was described as being attractive.At the time of my birth my mother had a very young daughter and felt adoption would give me a better chance in life.My father was a European 27 yr old.He was a mechanic.he was 5"6"tall of meduim build,had blonde hair,blue eyes and fair skin.If anyone knows this person,it would be great to here from you. With adopted kids theres a hole in our hearts and it never goes away until we find the missing piece. |
