I am a female searching for any member of my birth family. I was born on June 24, 1967 at St. Anne's Hospital in Washington D.C. and was adopted through Catholic Charities when I was four weeks old (Paul Cutty (?) was the attorney handling the adoption). I had a severe rash due to a milk allergy. I was told that my nationality is Irish/German, but I do not know how accurate this is. I have black hair, light brown eyes, am 5'5" in height. I have had children and all have blonde hair and blue eyes, so my dark hair and eyes are a recessive gene that would not nessecarily reflect the rest of my birth family's traits. Some of my prominent features that may link me to a family member are a small turned up nose, small cleft in the chin and a gap between my teeth that was fixed during childhood. I am also nearsighted and wear glasses/contacts, but this may have been self-inflicted and not a family trait. I was adopted by the Burke family which resided in Silver Springs, Maryland at the time. I was told that my birth mother was in her 20's when she gave birth to me and that she came from a large family that disowned her upon finding out about the pregnancy. I am really looking for my birth mother to let her know that I have always loved her for what she did and what she had to go through. If I am able to find any other family members or my birth father that would just be a wonderful bonus!
