Searching for my Birth Mom . Need to get original birth certificate . Do not know her name or mine. I only know born on 10/14/56 @ General Hospital in Kansas City Mo. on 2301 Holmes It was then General Hospital but now called Truman Medical Center. My name given was Janice Gezell Powell. My name @ birth was baby girl Smith. I am a 51yr old black lady now and was adopted before 2yrs old. My adopted mother stated mother only 14yrs when she gave birth do not know if that was accurate. If accurate she would be black women about 65yrs old now that gave birth to black female on 10/14/56 @ General hospital in kansas city mo on 2301 holmes that gave baby up for adoption.
