I am an adoptee. My name is Thomas Shepherd Caw. I am searching for my birth parents, who gave me up for adoption via the Ohio Children's Society, Inc., upon my birth on June 18, 1968. I was born at 7:28 a.m., at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, weighing 6 lbs. 9.5 oz.. I was 20 inches long, and my Apgar score was 9. The following information came from a form titled "The Story of Your Baby," provided to my adoptive parents by the Ohio Children's Society: The Mother: age 24, completed the 12th grade as an honor student, planned college but for financial reasons was unable to attend. Instead she has worked steadily as a clerk typist since graduation from high school. She has no outstanding nationality background and considers herself just "American." She describes herself as enjoying the more cultural things: has some artistic abilities, likes to work with her hands, reads a great deal and enjoys spectator sports. She is 5' 4", 110 lbs., has brown eyes, brown hair with auburn highlights, and a medium complexion (Caucasian). She has a younger brother who is currently a junior in college. Alleged Father: age 43, American with some Russian ancestry in the background, attended college for about 3 years, and currently owns his own metal fabricating business. He also owns show horses, has several patents pertaining to his business and to sulkys for racing. He is described as having "an excellent mind, a fantastic person, quiet and reserved." He is 6' 2", of average weight, with hazel eyes, brown hair, and a medium complexion.
