I was adopted in 1968 from the WI state health & human services. I was born at the Superior Memorial Hospital in Superior, Douglas county. WI on August 24, 1968 at 3:39 am. The birth was listed "out-of-wedlock." The birth mother was born in 1949 in WI. Her mother was born in 1912 in MN and worked as a domestic worker for private families and her father was born in 1906 in IL (the 2nd oldest of 8 children) and worked for the railroad in 1929 and worked on a farm in 1959. They were married in 1933.
She had 2 sisters (born in 1946 and 1947) and 1 brother (born in 1948) who had welding classes in 1966 Vocational school and also worked for the carnival and may have been drafted in the war and may have had epilepsy. Also had 1 deceased brother (born and died in 1951 of a heart lesion).
My birth mother was described (in 1968) as 5'1" tall, heavy-set (140-lb), short dark-brown hair, brown eyes and a lot of freckles.
The "alleged" biological father was born in 1940 in WI as the 7th of 11 children. He worked in pulp cutting and farmwork with some factory work. He had a speech impediment making him difficult to understand. He was married to another woman in 1965 in MN.
