I am looking for my birth mother. I was born September 22, 1979, in Houston, Texas. I was adopted through Catholic Charities. From what I was told my birth mother was about 16 years old and could not take care of me. The one thing she wanted for me was that the family that was to adopt me had to bring me up catholic. The reason I am trying to look for my birth mother is because I have an illness and I would like to know if this illness is genetic and if there is any other illness that runs in the family. I was told that my birth mother's mother has diabetes.
I was also told that the social worker that my adoptive parents worked with was giving pictures, that my adoptive parents sent the social worker, to my birth mother. I was told my birth mothers name is Teresa, and she was from Mexico.
I am not trying to hurt anyone by doing this but I just want to know about medical history. My name is Jennifer, and if you can help me I will be greatful for any and all help. Thank you. |
