Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am very interested in finding any of my birth family. This is what I know. *My birth first name was Shawnel *I am a woman who was born August 31st 1985 in St. Joseph MO. *I have a book that has "from grandma and grandpa Harman" in it but im not sure wether I recieved it from birth grandparents or from foster care grandparents. *I was told that I was born and adopted in St. Joseph MO *I was told that my mother was 19 when I was born and that my father was a year younger than my mother. *I was also told that I was in 7 different foster homes *Also I was told that I was adopted in 1988 and that my mother had married a different man than my birthfather. *I was also told that my birth mother wanted me very much which is why I am looking in the first place. I can only say I was told this because my adoptive parents seem very vague and forgetful in everything that they say to me about the whole occurance. *thankyou for any help you can give me...
