Searching for birth parents. Female adopted through Catholic Charities Diocese of Rockford, Illinois. Amended birth certificate lists my DOB as 2/19/1953. Place of birth: Aurora, IL. Adoption papers list birth mother's name as "Terry Harris." Not sure, but it seems as if the adoption did not take place immediately at birth, but around the first week or two of April, 1953. Adopted by William and Dorothy Johnson, who lived in Freeport, IL at the time of the adoption but were both originally from Aurora, IL. | |||||||||||||||||||||
