Looking for someone with Westberg ancestors from Brooklyn NY. We are looking for family members from the Jacob and Agnes (GILBERT) WESTBERG family that lived in Brooklyn, NY from the 1850's through the early 1900's. This was a large family. One of their sons was names Alfred L. Westberg. He married Mary Ransom in June of 1894. They may have had a son named Walter who they gave up for adoption in 1899-1900. Mary "disappeared." Alfred went into the army, then later married in Massachusetts to a woman named Bertha K. then returned to New York and lived in the Bronx and Brooklyn. According to VA records, Alfred was buried Jan 30, 1950. Agnes Westberg remarred after her husband's death and was named Agnes Hope at the time of her death.
