My maternal grandmother was born somewhere in Taranaki in 1898. She was put in an ophanage in New Plymouth.
She was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Newman.
I don't know at what age she was adopted.
Here our line stops and we are trying to find out who her birth Mother and father were so we can carry on finding our ancestary down our mother's line.
Grandmother's name was Ruth Gertrude Newman.I don't know if that was her name given by her birth mother or her adopted parents |
