My birth mother, Bonnie Heinz (spelling?} came from New York and stayed with my adoptive parents, Kenneth and Ordythe Renz, in LaPorte, Indiana for a short time in 1956. She was a 19-year-old singer in a band. I was born at Community Hospital in LaPorte on July 17, 1956, and shortly afterwards she left. I heard she may have come from Rochester. I have no further information about her, except that she once knew my aunt, Mary Provo, in Weedsport, New York. Apparently, my birth father played trumpet in the same ensemble with my mother in New York. | |||||||||||||||||||||
