I was born as Rebecca Strickland to my birth parents who adopted me out at two weeks of age. I was born in Wellington 23 December 1972. Only my mother's details are provided for on my birth certificate. My biological mother is Susan Mary Theresa Strickland, later married changing to Scott. Upon research I discovered I have a half sister, Rebecca Scott who I think may have been born 1974/5. They were both residing in Wellington as far I know up until my last contact of around 2004. My birth mother has denied details/contact with my birth father and shortly after this request decided to no longer keep in e-mail contact. I am searching for both my sister and for my father... |
