My birth parents, or any siblings. I was given the name Doris Ann Brown, born on June 2, 1949 at French Hospital in NYC. I am of mixed race. My birth mother was a Lithuanian Jew, 17 years old at the time of my birth, residing in a foster home in NYC. My maternal grandparents were born in Lithuania in 1896 and 1903 approximately. My maternal granparents were reported to have been their familes sole holocaust survivors. My mother had 5 sisters and one younger brother, aged 3-25 at the time of my birth. She is described as 5'3", slender and atractive, with brown curly hair and hazel eyes. My birth father was an African-American, a 21 yr old college freshamn when I was born. He is escribed as 5'10", athletic build.He was raised by a single mother who worked as a domestic and had an older sibling; his father died before hsi birth. I weighed 7lbs. 9.5 oz. at birth. My birth mother kept me for approx. 3 months before turning me over. I belive I was relinquished to State Charities Aid Association, or the Children's Aid Society in NYC in September 1949. I wqas formally adopted 12/11/1955 in Queens, Ny.
