Searching for a male child of mine. You have NEVER been forgotten and I knew once I signed those papers, I had made the biggest mistake of my life ! You have 2 sisters, ages 40 and 37 who are waiting impatiently to meet you. You were born on August 23, 1966 and you were adopted before Christmas in that same year. Your mother's maiden name is Ingersoll, father's last name is Lasley. Both parents are from New York State. You were given the name Christopher James and you were born in New York City in NY Hospital on the east side of Manhattan. You were 9 lbs and 6 oz. at birth and you were 23.5" inches in length. You were adopted from the Westchester County Department of Social Services in White Plains, NY. The Caseworker was Mrs. Gail Lovell. I cried as I signed the papers, but she promised me that I could have one more visit with you before you were placed with your new mom and dad. After signing the papers, she told me that I couldn't see you - that I had just signed away any rights that I had. I hopw that you forgive me - I know that I struggle with this more than I should; I did the best that I could, but would change it today if I could. I pray that you are okay and that you have forgiven me long ago. I have always loved you.
