She born 7/7/1913 in Quinebaugh, Connecticut. Family is Catholic. BM was oldest of six children. She graduated from high school in Portland, Maine in 1931, and then attended the Maine School of Commerce. She married in 1934 in East Douglas, Mass. and had one daughter born in 1939.
