I am looking for my birth mother. Adoptive family lore says her name was Frances Sweeney. She may have been around 16 when I was born in 1954. I was born in Scranton, PA and adopted when I was a few days old. My adopted parents supplied my birth mother's family with pictures for a few years. My birth mother may have become a nun. My adoptive mother saw my birth mother's name on documents in the atorney's possession. Allegedly, my birth mother's mother and possibly grandmother worked at the County Courthouse around the time I was born.
