I am searching for my birth parents or siblings. The date of my birth is August 20, 1955 and I was adopted by a couple, last name Silverman from Brooklyn, NY. This was a private adoption and the lawyer involved had the last name of Silverman although he was not related to my adoptive parents. It is quite possible that I have Native American blood though my birth certificate says Caucasian. I was born at Salt Lake City Community Hospital which has since burnt down. I was told that my birth parents were married and that I have sisters and brothers. It was related to me that my birth parents came to Brooklyn NY and tried to get me back. I was told that I was adopted when I was about 2 years old but do not know the state that my adoption was finalized. It could have been Utah, Florida, or New York
